Employers may receive financial incentives to provide on-the-job training, including apprenticeship training, work experience opportunities and/or skill level/employability assessments for service participants in trial placements.
The Opportunities Fund delivered through Employment and Social Development Canada, is designed to help people with disabilities obtain employment or self-employment. It assists people to develop the skills they need to maintain a job. Funding may be provided to employers to cover costs such as participant wages or related employer costs.
