Job Description
Company: A restaurant in Sarnia is looking for:
Part-time: 20 hours/week, flexible availability including evenings and weekends
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management and Bookkeeping:
• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries using QuickBooks Online.
• Reconcile bank statements and POS machine balances.
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
2. Inventory Management:
• Monitor and manage inventory levels.
• Conduct regular inventory audits.
3. Payroll and HR Support:
• Assist with payroll processing and maintain employee records.
• Support HR tasks such as WHMIS training and compliance.
4. Administrative Support:
• Provide clerical support and assist with administrative tasks related to business operations.
Education and Experience:
• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field is required.
• 1-2 years of work experience in a similar role in the food industry.
Skills:
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Salary: $20/hour, possible benefits after probation
Note: This position require flexible schedules such as starting and finishing the day late and availability in the evenings and weekends.
