The WorkPlace Group on behalf of Sentry Fire Protection is recruiting for a full time Service Coordinator

Our employer is looking for a mature, responsible Service Coordinator to perform a variety of administrative and service related tasks. Duties of the Service Coordinator include providing support to our management and employees, assisting in daily service/office needs and maintaining our various software and data management systems.

Employment Terms: Full-Time, Monday to Friday 7:30am-4:30pm

3 month contract position to start

Hour wage $20 per hour to start

Pension and benefits are available after the 3-month probation, pending contract renewal

Responsibilities Include, but not limited to;

  • Handle and direct incoming sales/service, via email, phone, walk-in’s
  • Handle administrative requests and queries from senior managers
  • Organizing paperwork and coordinating service work technicians
  • Assist Technicians with paperwork and reporting
  • Inside Sales, helping customers both walk-in, phones and email
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Maintain filing systems and records keeping
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Maintain contact/customer lists in existing software systems

Requirements

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience as a Service Coordinator or Inside Sales
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • High School diploma; additional qualification as an Service Coordinator will be a plus
  • Past administrative experience is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00 per hour
