Job Description
Duties:
- Perform service repairs on 2 stroke and 4 stroke gasoline engines, snow equipment, weed whackers, hedge trimmers, backpack blowers, mowers, zero turn mowers, sod cutters, sod rollers, water pumps, generators, and various small tools (Electric and gas powered)
- Test to check whether systems and components are secure and are working properly
- Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem
- Operate equipment for testing purposes or diagnose using various equipment, including hand-held and onboard compression gauges or diagnostic computers
- Strong preventative maintenance skills
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance, construction tools and snow equipment
- Advise customers on work performed, general equipment condition and future repair requirements.
- Complete reports to record problems and work performed
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and attention to detail
- Other duties as necessary
Experience:
- Mechanic license preferred but not necessary
- Educational Background in Small Engine Repair is an asset
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience working as a mechanic
- Valid driver’s license – mandatory
Full time position, year round

Hours of operation: Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5:00
