Position: Warehouse Associate

Reports to: Warehouse Foreman

Job Summary

The Warehouse worker supports the company by providing exceptional customer service, following procedures on inventory controls, ensuring the workplace is maintained so safety of co-workers and efficient shipping and receiving processes meet company policy and regulations.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.

Completes deliveries by driving truck to and from vendors and/or customers.

Maintains trucks by completing preventive maintenance requirements; addresses any performance issues with the foreman.

Maintains inventory controls by following all company shipping and receiving procedures; is involved in inventory counts on an as needed basis.

Maintains quality service by following organization standards.

Maintains a safe and clean working environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Contributes to the team effort by providing positive recommendations and addresses any areas for improvement with the warehouse foreman.

Other duties as assigned.
