Group Solum was established in 2021, but it’s history dates back to 1975, when Harry Buurma acquired his first dairy farm and founded his first agriculture company, Buurma Farms. It was Harry’s belief that hard work, integrity, and quality would set his company apart from others.

25 years later, Buurma Farms expanded and diversified into the fertilizer industry, property development, manufacturing of agricultural equipment, as well as the corn trade industry. It’s affiliates include: LaSalle Agri, Buurma Acres, Bacres Grain, and Agro-X. LaSalle Agri is an agricultural company that specializes in providing farmers with premium pelleted bio fertilizer. Buurma Acres is a property and asset management firm. Bacres Grain is a grain trade company, where Agro-X manufactures and sells agricultural cultivators and high-speed discs.
