Employment type: Flexible options available: Remote Part-time (1 day (8 hours)/week) or In-Person Full-time (5 days (36 hours)/week)

Pay Range: $25 – $30 per hour

Position Overview

We offer two distinct employment opportunities designed for candidates with varying levels of experience and availability:

Option 1: Part-Time Technical Drawing Specialist (1 day/week, 8 hours) In this role, you will be responsible for creating and editing 2D technical drawings using basic software like SolidWorks. This remote position allows you to work from home while making occasional visits to refineries to gather information for your drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit refineries to observe equipment and objects for precise drawing.
  • Develop accurate 2D technical drawings of objects, equipment, and parts.

Option 2: Full-Time Quality Control Specialist (36 hours/week, in-person) As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible in maintaining quality standards while performing drawing and drafting duties. This in-person position involves calibrations, compliance checks, data entry, filing, organizing, and ensuring that all processes meet industry and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate 2D technical drawings based on project specifications.
  • Conduct annual calibrations of equipment.
  • Manage documentation related to calibrations and compliance requirements.
  • Organize and maintain records, including data entry and tracking quality metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Skilled in general technical drawing with SolidWorks or similar programs.
  • Familiarity with technical terminology related to the industrial sector is an asset.
  • Computer-savvy and willingness to learn
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
